Use multiple exposures (more than one shot in camera) otherwise you're only working with luminosity from one exposure. The more the exposures the higher the dynamic range.
Tag your image with "HDR"
[optional] Tag your image with the amount of exposures. e.g. 2xp, 3xp, 7xp

Shoot RAW, the more exposure data per image, the higher the dynamic range. Raw has much more luminosity data than Jpeg.
Shoot as many exposures as you think might be required to capture the brightest highlight and darkest shadow in your scene

Technically you can post pics here developed from this process but only if you use the HDR development process.
